In our recent cybersecurity investigation, our attention has been drawn to several suspicious websites, prompting inquiries into their origins and activities.

WHOIS data for the grets.store website shows Russian domain name registration (https://www.whois.com/)

One such site, news.grets.store, has raised eyebrows due to its registration with the Russian domain registrar Regional Network Information Center. Additionally, its servers are associated with SpaceWeb LLC, a Russian company. These connections to Russia have sparked concerns about potential cyber threats originating from the region.

Further scrutiny revealed other dubious domains, including kar.razas.site and info.seders.website. Despite being registered in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, Google Analytics data suggests that most traffic from these sites is coming from Poland, adding another layer of complexity to the investigation.

AVG Warning about infected websites

The precise operations and intentions of these websites remain unclear, leaving website security experts with unanswered questions. However, efforts to uncover the truth are ongoing, with updates promised as new information emerges.

Stay tuned as we continue to investigate these cyber attacks and work to ensure the safety and security of those affected.
